Telemonitoramento de idosos acompanhados em domicílio: uma revisão de escopo

O estudo objetivou mapear a produção de conhecimento sobre o telemonitoramento de idosos acompanhados em domicílios e identificar lacunas de pesquisas existentes. Trata-se de uma revisão de escopo, foram selecionados 25 artigos em literatura cinzenta e nas bases de dados: MEDLINE (acesso via PubMed), Web of Science (WoS), Literatura latino-Americana e do Caribe em Ciências da Saúde (LILACS) e biblioteca virtual de saúde (BVS). O estudo de escopo possibilitou mapear as principais repercussões do telemonitoramento de idosos acompanhados em domicílio. Permitiu, além disso, que pudéssemos reconhecer as principais fontes de telemonitoramento que são utilizadas pelo público. Os achados poderão contribuir para o fortalecimento do uso do telemonitoramento de idosos assistidos na comunidade, pelos benefícios na qualidade de vida e para ampliação das práticas avançadas pela enfermagem utilizando esta estratégia junto a este grupo populacional. O telemonitoramento possibilita a desospitalização, a transição de cuidados para o domicílio e reinternações precoces pela supervisão dos parâmetros de saúde e/ou doença de pacientes à distância com Tecnologias de Informação e Comunicação.
